XR @ Michigan 2021 Summit: "XR at Walt Disney Studios" with Michael Nebeling

The Extended Reality (XR) at Michigan 2021 Summit will span two half days (April 6 and 7) and will feature speakers from all over the country sharing their knowledge and insight around XR. The XR at Michigan Summit will utilize virtual event platforms, Hopin, for the majority of the speaker sessions, and AltspaceVR, for a networking reception (RSVP for the Networking Reception here). 

UMSI assistant professor Michael Nebeling will present on "XR at Walt Disney Studios" on Wednesday, April 7 at 1:05pm EDT. More information on the  XR Summit can be found here.

Presenter Biography:

Michael Nebeling is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information, where he leads the Information Interaction Lab. His lab investigates new methods, tools and technologies that enable users to interact with information in more natural and powerful ways, and also make it easier for designers to create more usable and effective user interfaces.

Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the HCI Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, where he also obtained his PhD.
