Career and job search resources
The Career Development Office (CDO) offers alumni the following services:
- One-time resume/cover letter review (send as attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Full access to iTrack (online recruiting system) to search jobs, find employer contacts and gain visibility with employers
- Access to all online career/job search resources, including the UMSI Resume Guide
New graduates: If you graduated within the last four months, you are considered a new grad. As such, you are eligible to receive all CDO services, including career counseling.
The U-M Alumni Association and the U-M Career Center both offer individual career counseling to alumni for life. Additionally, the Center for the Education of Women offers career and education counseling and support for U-M community members.

Invitations to UMSI events in your area
Throughout the year the Office of Development and Alumni Relations hosts alumni events throughout the country. Invitations to these events are sent to all alumni via email. To update your email address with UMSI send an email to email@example.com.
Eligibility for alumni awards
The School of Information has established two alumni awards: the Distinguished Alumni award and the Entrepreneurial & Innovation Alumni award. All alumni are eligible for award nomination. Award presentations take place annually at the UMSI alumni reception during homecoming weekend in Ann Arbor. Click here for additional details.
