Daria Fedoriv, AMLS ‘79, recently joined ABT Associates as Director, Knowledge Management. Previously, Daria worked for 20+ years at Deloitte leading Information and Knowledge Management programs. She currently resides in the Washington, DC area.
Jean Jones, MILS '90, began a new position in Access Services and Collections Support at the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library at the University of Michigan. Previously, she worked in Library Operations at the University of Michigan Shapiro and Hatcher Libraries.
Jennifer Colby, MSI '13, began a new position as one of two media specialists at Huron High School in Ann Arbor.

Daryl Fisher, MSI ’99 (Information Economics, Management, and Policy), published a book, Greening Your Condo Association: Politics, Pitfalls, Recommendations, and Rewards. The book addresses general environmental issues related to economics and psychology using the example of a condo association, and can be applied by anyone attempting to make organizational change. The book is available through any major bookseller.
Maurine McCourry, MILS '94, just completed her PhD in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. Maurine is Technical Services Librarian at Hillsdale College.

Holly M. Riccio, MILS '94, Director of Library Innovation, Library Manager San Francisco was recently named as the President of the American Association of Law Libraries. Riccio has been an active AALL member throughout her 20-year career. Most recently, she served as vice-president elect and chair of the Appointments Committee, Executive Board Strategic Directions Committee and the Chapter Summit Planning Committee. Riccio has also been active within her local AALL chapter, the Northern California Association of Law Libraries (NOCALL), serving as its president n 2011-2012.
MSI '09 alumni Angelique Richardson, Rebecca Welzenbach, Jill Zawacki, Katherine Goodwin, David Jackson and Elizabeth Everson, MSI '10, gathered in Boston to celebrate the marriage of Katherine Goodwin in August. They are pictured left on the steps of the Boston Public Library.
Peter Morville, MILS '93, published a new book, Intertwingled: Information Changes Everything. It's available via Amazon in print and ebook formats.

Sarah Barbrow, MSI ’11, began a new position this month as Research & Instruction Librarian at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Previously she worked as a Special Projects Librarian at the University of Michigan. Sarah and her husband John welcomed the birth of their son, Henry Barbrow Prensner, this past April.
Vikram Vaishya, MSI ‘03 began a new position as Franchise Strategy Lead, Hematology, at Genentech in San Francisco, CA. Previously he worked at Genentech as Senior Product Manager, Strategy Hematology Marketing.

Stephanie Soule, MSI ‘12 began a new position as Assistant Professor and Special Collections Librarian/Archivist at the University of Dayton in August. Previously she was an Archivist at Tyrrell Historical Library in Texas.
Nadia Seiler, MSI '05, tragically passed away on Friday, August 15 in a motor vehicle accident in Washington, DC. Nadia had worked as a cataloger at the Folger Shakespeare Library in DC since 2007.
July Class Notes
Sara Ulius-Sabel, MSI '03, assumed a new position as the Product Quality Lead, Integrated Business Units at Whirlpool Corporation in April. In this role, she owns and drives end-to-end product quality for Jenn-Air, Gladiator GarageWorks, Swash, EveryDrop, Affresh and other IBU brands and products. Sara joined Whirlpool in 2003 as a Summer Usability intern in Global Consumer Design and has held roles of increasing responsibility in GCD and North American Quality since returning to Whirlpool in 2004.
Shruti Shetty, MSI ’14, began a position as an Interaction Designer at BitTorrent, Inc. in July.
Xiaowei Zhang, MSI ’14 began a position as Usability Engineer at New World Systems after graduating from UMSI in May.
Alexandra Van Doren, MSI '02, BFA/BA '95, began a new job in June as the Web Services Manager for the Des Plaines Public Library in Des Plaines, Illinois. Previously she was the Web Management Librarian at the University of Houston-Downtown in Houston, Texas.
Colleen Stringer, AMLS ’72, passed away on July 30, 2014. Colleen was the Director of the Brandon Township Public Library in Ortonville, MI.
