Sonia Doshi

Sonia Doshi is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Information with a Bachelor of Science in Information, focusing in User Experience Design. Beginning this Fall 2016, Sonia will be attending Stanford University to receive her Masters of Education in the Learning, Design, and Technology program. While at Michigan, Sonia worked as a Research Study Coordinator for a mental health research team and led several advocacy initiatives for college student mental health, which included producing a national film competition for mental health awareness and the campus' firstever Mental Health Monologues show. For this work, she received the Jed Foundation's 2015 Student Voice of Mental Health award. Sonia also served as the President and Founder of the School of Information Bachelor's Association (SIBA) and the President of Kappa Theta Pi, the country's first professional technology fraternity. From her time in the BSI and at Michigan, Sonia received the Michigan Difference Senior of the Year Award and the School of Information's Nikki Candelore Roda Student Impact Award.
