Students: Career Support and Services During COVID-19

Our No. 1 priority is your health and safety, as well as the health and safety of our staff and community. In light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, we are offering virtual services and support to UMSI students at this time. You can reach the CDO team at

iTrack: Employers continue to post jobs and internships to iTrack daily.  Stay updated on all of the latest job postings by setting up search agents or logging into iTrack regularly.

Virtual Career Advising Appointments: Meet virtually 1:1 with a CDO advisor to explore and identify the next steps for your job or internship search. Please make an appointment in iTrack to meet with us. The CDO team releases appointment availability on a bi-weekly basis on Fridays. When appointments are released, you'll be able to book appointments happening within the following two weeks. 

Virtual Career Drop-In Advising: Stop by our Canvas chat room with quick career-related questions every Wednesday 12-5 p.m. ET. 

Career Resources: Access career resources through the CDO Canvas site. Review the Career Resource Modules to find helpful resources and materials on a variety of career topics.

Resume Books:  Increase your visibility to recruiting employers at this time.  Add your resume to the appropriate Resume Book in iTrack. The CDO team is sending out Resume Books to employers every week.

Career Discussion Boards: Utilize CDO Canvas Discussions to post questions about specific career topics. Discussion boards will be monitored daily during business hours by CDO staff members and Peer Coaches.
