Improving Generation of Sensitive Dialogue via Simulated Urgency and Location

 Speaker Bio: Shiyan Yan is a fifth-year Ph.D. Student in School of Information, working with Professor Walter Lasecki in Computer Science and Engineering, EECS. Previously, he worked with Professor Carl Lagoze in School of Information, and as an intern in Bosch Research. He received his bachelor degrees from Department of Information Management and School of Mathematical Science in Peking University. His primary research interests are Data Mining, Machine Learning, Human-computer Interaction and Crowdsourcing, especially how crowdsourcing and machine learning can help each other.
