Space 2435 North Quad

The Data Visualization Workshop is designed to create a community of researchers across the University of Michigan who are interested in best practices for data visualization and are looking to incorporate them into presentations, reports, articles, and other presentation venues. This community is intended to include graduate students, faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and interested U-M staff members, many of whom have extensive expertise in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, R, Stata).

In bringing together this diverse community around the topic of data visualization, Arts Engine hopes to spark new conversations and collaborations across the institution and invigorate scholarly and practical approaches to the visual dissemination of data that can serve understanding and critical decision-making.

Please join in sharing and discussing data visualizations and related research in an informal venue to discuss the merits and areas of improvement for static and interactive data visualizations. Graduate students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to make a quick presentation of a current data viz project or simply attend!

RSVP to present your project or attend.
