As the Marketing and Relationship Development Program Manager, I lead communication and engagement efforts to connect civic, nonprofit, corporate, and other external organizations with UMSI students in client-based courses and programs. I am deeply passionate about facilitating meaningful learning opportunities by identifying opportunities for students to engage in practical, real-world learning experiences that also position them to make a positive impact on a local, national, and global scale. 

Over the past decade, I have gained a variety of experiences working in educational contexts, including undergraduate and graduate admissions, international student programming, first-year and transfer orientation, academic advising, and high school teaching. Through these experiences, I have discovered how marketing/communications can serve as a powerful tool for sharing ideas, connecting communities, and creating opportunities for growth and learning. 

I earned a B.A. in Education from the University of Michigan with concentrations in English and Psychology in 2014. I went on to earn an M.A. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from Michigan State University in 2022. 

In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, camping, hiking, musical theatre, a good cup of coffee, thrift shopping, and hanging out with my cat, Jolene.
