Global Engagement Program Manager

As the Intercultural and Global Engagement Coordinator, I lead advising, programming and related activities for all students who seek to participate in global experiences. I manage the School of Information's signature global engagement programs, including the Global Information Engagement Program (GIEP) and Peace Corps partnerships, and I manage the School's bilateral exchange agreements, supporting UMSI students who study abroad and coordinating our incoming exchange program. I collaborate with the Office of Academic Student Affairs and the Career Development Office to enhance advising, programs, and workshops for study abroad, international internships and other global activities. I also coordinate on-campus programming that promotes the development of intercultural learning and deep global engagement.

I love rooting for Michigan football and basketball with my husband, who is a sportswriter for the Detroit News. We live in Ann Arbor and enjoy being close to both of our families who live in Waterford, Michigan. I'm a runner and I finished a bucket list goal of running the Detroit Marathon in 2017 (10k's are my preferred race). I love to travel domestically and internationally and am always looking forward to planning my next trip.
