Sangseok You, a PhD student at the School of Information at the University of Michigan, is a passionate knowledge-seeker with a firm belief that computers and information can help build a better world by influencing the human mind. His current research interest lies at the information behavior in virtual collaboration settings and the cognitive approach to credibility judgment in information behavior. He is also interested in the role of virtual agent in CSCW. Examination of socio-psychological effects of human-computer interaction, such as interactive media and virtual environment, has been conducted during his master’s years under multidisciplinary perspectives—communication, computer science, robotics, and cognitive psychology.
