Steven Cederquist's current research examines how hiring managers and recruiters make sense of applicant competence through college transcripts and other college experiences represented in resumes, portfolios, and social networking platforms. More broadly, Steven is interested in the relationship between education, employment, and identity. He received his Master of Arts from the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education and Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. He served as a community and education volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in Vlore, Albania from 2012 to 2015.
