SI 400: Fundamentals of Survey Methodology

Surveys are used extensively in user experience design both to collect design requirements and to evaluate systems. Yet, creating and deploying good surveys in this context is difficult due to factors such as small sample size, incomplete data, and poor question construction. This course will make students aware of the principles of survey design, standard practices for survey research, and highlight major issues in survey creation, sampling, implementation that affect the quality of survey data.
