SI 610: Manipulating Semi-Structured Data

Semi-structured data is the dominant model for representing information over distributed information networks; e.g., the Web. It is central to information management in knowledge institutions such as libraries, museums, and archives were interoperability. It is also relevant to analysis of social networks where extensible information models are required. This course will cover tool, techniques, and practices for representing and manipulating semi-structured data.
