Learn Online with UMSI
The University of Michigan School of Information has several ways for you to learn online with us, and engage with other learners around the state of Michigan, the United States and the world. We offer several online learning opportunities to grow your skills, engage your interests, and prepare you to advance in your career or start a new one. Important to know: University of Michigan community members--including students, faculty, staff, and alumni--may take any of our online series or online courses for free.
The Master of Applied Data Science program blends theory, computation, and application in a portable online format. The School of Information offers online series of courses enabling you to delve deeply into a well-designed and practical learning experience. You can earn a certificate to use for professional development, or lifelong enrichment by completing any of our series.
UMSI Series span our areas of teaching and scholarship including user experience research, web design and application, computer programming, data science, and library management.
