Humans and Their Emotions? A Critical Take on Emotion Recognition-Enabled Voice Assistants

Focusing on voice data and voice assistants, this work will reveal attitudes and expectations (including and beyond those related to privacy) of people whose data make emotion recognition technologies possible and who are influenced by emotion-related algorithmic decision-making.
