This summer I worked remotely as a User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) Design intern for the AR/VR startup SuperWorld. I had the opportunity to work on the website team where I designed new web pages and updated the designs of existing pages, as well as the real estate web application team, on which I designed the user-to-user messaging interface and user profile. My internship allowed me to improve my iterative prototyping and visual design skills and also helped me to become more proficient in common UX tools like Adobe XD and Figma. I also gained experience designing within a team of designers, developers and project managers and learned how to create the design that works best within an established user flow. 

My internship was exactly the type of experience I was looking for to further my UX journey, and I am so thankful for the opportunity and mentorship SuperWorld provided. This internship has helped me understand what I want out of my future career and has allowed me to hone the skills required to attain my preferred employment post-graduation.
