Professional career coaching

The Career Development Office offers students professional career coaching to meet the individual needs of every UMSI student. As a UMSI student, you will have a designated coach who will empower you to take the lead in your career journey as we work alongside you to learn your goals, strategize about the challenges you’re facing, and celebrate your progress and success along the way. Coaching is offered one-on-one, in a group, in person and virtually to meet the hectic scheduling demands of students.

Peer career coaching

All UMSI students also have the valuable opportunity to receive peer career coaching from UMSI students who have gone through the internship search process successfully and are trained to help others achieve success as well.
