Commencement

Every industry needs experts who not only have advanced skills in emerging technologies but an understanding of human needs. It’s a combination that is hard to find — which puts graduates of the School of Information in high demand.

Alumni of our five degree programs pursue careers they love, creating technology that works for every user and leveraging data to solve complex business challenges. They take on roles that didn’t exist a decade ago, whether that’s designing next-gen automotive UX or shaping AR and VR experiences in gaming. And they build lasting careers that move industries forward — at top tech companies, government agencies, nonprofits and health care organizations.

Explore some of their journeys below to see what is possible with an information science degree.
