Biography

Aadarsh is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Michigan School of Information, working with Professors Barbara Ericson and Mark Guzdial. His research focuses on how computing students develop critically conscious computing: both the ability to analyze technology's social impacts and the confidence to act on those insights. Drawing on computing education, critical pedagogy, and science and technology studies, he develops frameworks that help students see technology as shaped by human decisions rather than inevitable forces. His work has been published in CHI (Best Paper Honorable Mention), ICER, SIGCSE, and ACM Transactions on Computing Education.
