Amy Eaton
Biography
Amy joined UMSI in August 2020 as the doctoral program manager. In her role, she supports all key functional areas including recruiting, admissions, advising, tracking funding, and awards and fellowships. Amy works under the direction of the Doctoral Program Director and is responsible for providing a broad range of services to our students and faculty.
Amy has worked at the University of Michigan supporting doctoral students since 2006. She began her career in student affairs and student life at the Rackham Graduate School and then joined the LSA Department of Communication and Media as their graduate program coordinator.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys cooking, coffee, UM athletics (Go Blue!), and listening to audiobooks. She is slowly renovating her backyard and does not anticipate finishing any time soon. She also loves fostering with the non-profit group Project Hope Animal Rescue (linked to https://www.projecthoperescue.org/) and, of course, spending time with her own rescue pets.
