Biography
Isabelle "beck" Mallwitz is a first year PhD student in UMSI. They work at the intersections of identity, learning, and technology, bringing in perspectives from queer theory, disability studies, and critical race theory. They are interested in informal learning environments, community-oriented research, and bringing art practices into learning and teaching. They are advised by Patricia Garcia and work in the Culturally Responsive Computing Lab.
