Hira Jamshed

Biography

I am inspired by frameworks like ability-based design which ask us to critically reflect on the design of accessible interactive technologies. I am currently interested in researching the reading, writing, and searching practices of users of AI-based technologies, specifically focusing on older adults and people with visual and cognitive disabilities. My work is also informed by critical disability perspectives that motivate novel and empowering ways of designing technologies.
