Biography

Kristin Fontichiaro is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Information. She teaches courses in contextual inquiry and user needs assessment; makerspace culture and tools; information literacy; and library and information science.

Areas of interest

Kristin is interested in teaching and learning in formal and informal settings. She speaks internationally on inquiry, information and digital literacy, and makerspaces. She coordinates the Michigan Makers service and action research projects in badging and makerspaces.
