Professional career advising

The Career Development Office offers students professional career advising to meet the individual needs of every UMSI student.  As a UMSI student, you will have a designated advisor who will provide you with career guidance from your first day through to graduation. Advising is offered one-on-one, in a group, in person and virtually to meet the hectic scheduling demands of students.

Peer career coaching

All UMSI students also have the valuable opportunity to receive peer career coaching from UMSI students who have gone through the internship search process successfully and are trained to help others achieve success as well.
