Abhishek Shah (MHI ’24) spent his summer as a data process and policy compliance intern at the pharmaceutical company Novartis in East Hanover, New Jersey. “I built practical skills and a strong foundation for a future career,” he says of the experience.

Abhishek led implementation of a feedback solicitation and internal review process impacting more than 2,000 users of the Medical, Legal and Regulatory teams. He also developed interactive Tableau dashboards using Salesforce marketing data for the Novartis drug Cosentyx.

“My internship experience has not only enriched my skill set but also boosted my confidence in navigating real-world challenges,” he says. “It has solidified my career aspirations in marketing and data analysis, and I am excited to leverage the knowledge gained to contribute meaningfully to my chosen field.”
