Ask a student ambassador
Speak with a current MHI student about the program and application process (please note that student ambassadors are not able to provide advising on schedules). If you attend a student ambassador appointment, you’ll receive a fee waiver to apply at no cost.
Ilana Gershenson (MHI ’27)
Ilana chose UMSI for its welcoming, interdisciplinary environment. She is studying how data science and healthcare can work together to improve patient care. Ilana participates in the Health Informatics Student Organization and the School of Information Master’s Association and enjoys long-distance running, reading and spending time outdoors.
