UMSI Student Care Referral

Please submit the UMSI Student Care Referral form if you are aware of a UMSI student who may need support for a non-urgent concern, including but not limited to academic difficulty, mental health, illness, financial hardship, extended absence or concerning behavior. This form can be submitted by faculty, staff, peers, family members or anyone with a relationship to a UMSI student. Students are welcome and encouraged to refer themselves through the form.

The UMSI Academic Success team will follow up with the referrer within two business days and, depending on the nature of the concern, may also reach out to the student directly to connect them with the appropriate resources. A student does not need to consent to having a form submitted on their behalf. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
