A series of discussions and read-togethers have been organized throughout January-March, culminating in a public lecture by Dr. Ruha Benjamin on March 14 co-sponsored by UMSI (details forthcoming).

Sign up to receive a book and join the reading group.

NOTE: Even if you cannot join the discussions, please fill out the form to request a book. Everyone is welcome to drop in to a discussion as time allows.

Viral Justice is a book that “show[s] how seemingly minor decisions and habits could spread virally and have exponentially positive effects.” It is a timely message as we continue with DEI 2.0 strategic planning, a reminder that working together we can enact change both at UMSI and in our broader world. You can view the book trailer or read the book description for further detail.
