A 1970 Master of Art in Library Science graduate at the University of Michigan, Anne Beaubien spent her decades-long career at the University of Michigan Library. During her tenure, she held various positions before becoming director of document delivery.
Though retired today, Anne’s dedication to cataloging and referencing still provides thousands of U-M students with the information they need to be successful. In fact, Anne led development of the document delivery program, which provides scanned articles of books to U-M students and faculty each day through their emails.
At UMSI, Anne took advantage of every reference course she could get her hands on. It’s also where she found her love of helping others by assisting them in searching for accurate and timely information about their interests.
“UMSI is an outstanding program and its graduates are proud to be SI Wolverines,” she says.
