As a 2019 Master of Science in Information graduate of the University of Michigan School of Information, Novia is currently a PhD candidate at the University of California Irvine. At UCI, Novia is fusing her love of psychology and information to help people access mental health resources.
At UMSI, Novia enjoyed pursuing projects that challenged her and allowed her to work with a wide variety of people. Her work study project is the inspiration for her current research at UCI.
Internships and projects with clients are great for gaining experience, so do those as much as possible. In the end, what really matters is your experience working with other people.
