Jain is the founder and CEO of Price.com, an AI-powered all-in-one savings and product discovery platform that maximizes users’ savings at more than 100,000 stores across a range of product categories, including prescription medications, travel, fashion and everyday staples. Previously, he served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at venture capital firm Foundation Capital, senior engineer at ride-sharing startup Sidecar (acquired by General Motors) and gaming company Zynga, and co-founder of a mobile testing startup that was acquired by Google.

Jain is the executive producer of the award-winning Netflix climate change documentary “Kiss the Ground” and is passionate about soil regeneration. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from U-M.

“The University of Michigan is at the forefront of AI and generative AI, which will improve the lives of billions of people worldwide,” Jain said. “The vision Dean Andrea Forte has for the School of Information is inspiring! I'm joining the board to support her vision.”

During his renewable three-year term, Jain will offer his expertise to UMSI leadership on matters including curriculum development and research initiatives, while supporting students directly through mentorship opportunities.

“The University of Michigan made an important contribution to my entrepreneurial journey,” Jain said. “My goal now is to support the next generation of Michigan entrepreneurs to contribute to millions of people's lives.”
