Volunteers from the School of Information contributed their time and talents during the annual Service Day in conjunction with the Martin Luther King Jr Symposium weekend at the University of Michigan.

At one of the sites, the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, students helped organize records. Yousef Rabhi, volunteer coordinator at the gardens, adds his thoughts about how volunteers of all kinds help strengthen a community.
