Join this interactive team building experience, facilitated by the UMSI Engaged Learning Office. Get introduced to new techniques to have positive team experiences, meet new people and have a lot of fun! Come prepared to move around and socialize. 

11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.: Lunch | Ehrlicher Room, 3100 North Quad
Meet others from the MADS program over lunch. 

12:45-1:45 p.m.: Career development session | Ehrlicher Room, 3100 North Quad
Join us for an interactive session that applies the mindsets and principles of design thinking to the "wicked problem" of designing your life and career. This is meant for everyone no matter where you're currently at in your life or career.

2-3 p.m.: Faculty lightning talks | 2435 North Quad
UMSI faculty present research highlights. 

3:15-4:15 p.m.: Campus tour/break | Start at North Quad
Guided tour around U-M's central campus

4:30-7 p.m.: UMSI community reception | 2435 North Quad
Join UMSI alumni, staff and faculty for appetizers and refreshments.

7 p.m.: MADS student social | location TBD
Hosted by the Master of Applied Data Science Association (MADSA). An assortment of appetizers and snacks will be provided. Students can purchase their own refreshments and additional food.

Saturday, Sept. 14

9 a.m.-noon: UMSI & CSE community tailgate | Ferry Field
