Biography

I am interested in the role information tools play in building community and civic engagement. I build partnerships with cities, and connect our students with them to create information tools, services, and systems that support 21st-century citizenship. I believe that information skills are important beyond career goals; they can be employed to improve your neighborhood, community, and world.

I am a lecturer for project-oriented courses such as SI538: Citizen Interaction Design, SI350: UX Field Research In the Public Sector, and the BSI Capstone courses (SI 407/487).
