Areas of Interest
Health informatics; computer supported cooperative work, human-computer interaction; science policy; science and technology studies (STS). My research interests lie in the following two broadly characterized domains: (1) information work, workflow and practices in healthcare organizations and in personal health information management, and in particular how these relate to the management of chronic illness over time, and (2) processes and mechanisms for the federal funding and management of large-scale, long-term facilities and infrastructure for science.
