I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan School of Information advised by Dr. Sile O'Modhrain. My primary research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and the social sciences and center around issues related to assistive technology for people with disabilities, the practical and social impacts of these technologies, and equity of access to educational spaces and resources. My current work examines discrepancies between the totality of Web accessibility issues experienced by users with visual impairments and the subset of these issues accounted for by applicable legal and industry standards.
