Biography

Liz Marquis is a fourth year PhD candidate at the University of Michigan School of Information, where they are advised by Casey Pierce and are a member of the Social Media Research Lab and Digitization of Work Lab. Their research is broadly concerned with the impacts of technology on work. Specifically, they are interested how AI is used to manage workers and the impacts AI has on these workers’ practices and professional identities.
