Community Event

Tuesday, Oct 6, 2026 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Mode: In Person
Audience: All UMSI

Drop in for a relaxed community reading session over a light lunch, as a part of UMSI’s Banned Books Week offerings. Through conversations and feedback from our community, we’ve heard many folks express wanting to read, but not being able to make the time within their schedules. We wanted to create this space for you! Come together with the UMSI community in our “pop-up library” where you can bring your own book or pick up a banned book from one of our free Little Libraries before heading over.

There is no formal programming, so feel welcome to come and leave as needed.

Light lunch is available for those who RSVP
