Career development

The UMSI Career Development Office is a team of career development experts devoted to providing UMSI students with strategic, customized and comprehensive career services. We are with you every step of the way coaching, empowering and supporting you from orientation through to commencement. 

Career outcomes

UMSI graduates obtain innovative, diverse professional jobs in a wide range of work settings and positions, from innovative tech startups and global healthcare organizations to nonprofits, libraries, Fortune 100 companies and some of the leading tech companies in the world.

Engaged learning

While at UMSI, students have the opportunity to gain experience that will best prepare them for today’s societal and industry demands. Through various curricular opportunities and programs managed by UMSI’s Engaged Learning Office, students can apply what they are learning in the classroom and develop the skills to be tomorrow’s change makers.
