MADS Grads 2026 Reception

The School of Information will celebrate Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Spring/Summer 2026 Master of Applied Data Science graduates with a reception on Wednesday, April 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT. 

This reception will take place the day before the UMSI graduation ceremony and is open to all School of Information MADS graduates, their friends and family and current MADS students. Chris Brooks, academic director for the MADS program, will join key faculty and staff to greet and congratulate our MADS graduates.

This event will be held on the Ann Arbor campus, in the Leinweber Computer Science and Information Building in the Dow Room (4th floor, 2200 Hayward St.). The reception will be open-house style, so feel free to stop by at any time. Refreshments will be served, and we’ll also feature a curated selection of MADS posters from the UMSI Student Project Exposition.

This celebration is in addition to the school-wide commencement reception on April 30 at Ingalls Mall from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The university-wide spring commencement ceremony will be held in Michigan Stadium on Saturday, May 2.
