REDP Info Session 1
The UMSI Research Experience Development Program (REDP) is a 1.5-credit course (SI 512) offered in Winter 2026 and led by Professor Gabriela Marcu. REDP provides an introductory, hands-on research experience that builds core research skills, offers structured mentoring, and connects students to a vibrant community of scholars. Participants engage in academic and social activities that foster professional growth and connection. At the end of the semester, students may apply for funding to present their research at a conference. This course is well-suited for students interested in exploring academic research, considering the MTOP track, or thinking about pursuing a doctoral degree.
