UMSI Transfer Student Visit Day

The School of Information is hosting a visit day for students interested in transferring for a future term. Any student interested in the field of information and in transferring to the Bachelor of Science in Information (BSI) program is welcome to attend. Activities for this event will include: 

• An overview of the field of information with UMSI faculty
• Information presentations from the BSI Transfer Admission Team and the Office of Financial Aid
• Lunch in a U-M Dining Hall with UMSI alumni
• U-M Central Campus tour
• An introduction to UMSI's student organizations
• Presentation on the Community College Summer Institute
• A transfer student panel
• UMSI Campus Information Fair

Transportation from Grand Rapids Community College and Schoolcraft College is available. If you are interested in utilizing this service, please indicate so on the registration form. Transportation from GRCC is for GRCC students only. Students from any institution that are interested in using the transportation from Schoolcraft College are welcome to do so. For students that drive themselves, parking validation will be available.
